EXPERIENCE:After graduating from Massachusetts
College of Art with a BA in painting and
illustration, her work evolved from thick paint and
texture into quilted, stuffed and painted pieces and
then into tapestry. I did production work for a
number of years but Sue set this aside as her focus
shifted to tapestry. Recently she has been
experimenting with paper
weavings.Education: Bachelor of Fine Art,
Massachusetts College of Art, Boston,
MAAwards: 2010-11 American Tapestry Biennial 8,
Elder Gallery in Lincoln, Nebraska and The American
TextileHistory Museum in Lowell, Massachusetts
awarded First Prize 2009 Textile Territory, Gallery
at 100 Market Street, Portsmouth, NH, Honorable
Mention 2007/08 Commissioned by NH State Council on
the Arts to create award for 2007 Governor Arts
Award 2006 Craft National 2006, Lancaster Museum of
Art, PA awarded one of ten prizes 2004 Best in
Weaving Award in Living with Crafts Exhibit at 71st
NH League of Craftsmen Annual Sunapee Fair
