Sph-5 Cobra Helmet Decal. In the 1990s, Gentex came
out with the SPH-5 Helicopter Helmet for the Cobra
Helicopter. The Cobra helicopter was a fast, highly
manuverable gun ship, faster than the Huey transport
helicopters that were using the SPH-4 helmet ( see
my listing for the SPH-4 manual). The SPH-5 helmet
was lighter than the SPH-4 so reduce the fatigue to
the Cobra pilots when flying their fast moving Cobra
helicopters. These decals were promotional give a
ways. They got wet so they don't stick any more,
colors may have darkened but interesting
